Advanced Features and Design
Featuring a long, narrow outline, low rocker, and a sleek pin tail, the Downwinder Slim SLS is optimized for acceleration and speed—essential for paddling into fast-rolling ocean swells. The clean, single concave bottom entry aids in smooth recovery during touchdowns, while the pronounced rail bevels with hard edges at the rear provide excellent release and enhanced stability.
The slightly recessed deck offers a direct connection to the foil, ensuring better control during turns, high speeds, and take-offs. New, longer carbon foil tracks provide more adjustability and contribute to the overall lighter weight of the board, improving maneuverability and efficiency.
