Imagine combining the Jump N’ Ride freemove qualities of the DUKE with the wave capabilities of the SUPER_HERO D/LAB. Mission impossible? Not for us. This was the core motivation behind the development of the brand-new DUKE SLS!
The return of the DUKE as a 5-batten Jump N' Ride sail two years ago was a major success, becoming the most popular sail in ION CLUB and DUOTONE PRO CENTERS worldwide. Now, with the DUKE SLS, we’ve taken this concept to the extreme. But instead of merely swapping materials, we developed the sail from scratch to fully utilize its potential and give it an entirely new character. Depending on the board, the DUKE SLS behaves like a chameleon:
- On lower drag single-fin boards (like Freewave or small Freeride boards), the DUKE SLS has a slight forward pull, similar to the original DUKE.
- On higher drag multi-fin wave boards, the pull is evenly distributed over both hands, making the DUKE SLS feel similar to the SUPER_HERO D/LAB, making it highly capable even in proper wave sailing conditions.

- CHAMELEON CHARACTER: The first sail that combines the benefits of a Freewave sail with a capable down-the-line wave sail.
- SLS >> STRONG-LIGHT-SUPERIOR: 400-500g lighter than the original DUKE.
- BATTEN FREE CENTER: A larger gap between the foot batten and the batten above the boom results in better inflation and planing power in the boom area, improving overall stability.
- VTS TAIL outhaul specs: Each sail carries visual indications for the correct outhaul extension (requires VTS TAIL boom).
- iROCKET 2.0: Factory calibrated batten tensions using a torque wrench for optimal performance.
- SUPER-LIGHT BUMPER: The lightest protector on the market, featuring a vinyl viewing window to ensure perfect trim.

D/LAB vs. SLS vs. Originals
- D/LAB: All sails featuring high-tech laminates like Carbon XPly and fused panels. These sails are approximately 500g lighter than ORIGINALS and offer the biggest wind range.
- SLS: Sails featuring high-tech laminates like Carbon XPly with traditionally sewn panels. These sails are about 500g lighter than ORIGINALS and have a larger wind range due to the use of Carbon XPly.
- Originals: Sails using standard XPly materials with traditionally sewn panels. Best price-value ratio and come with a 5-year warranty.
Shape Follows Construction: Each sail is designed from scratch based on its materials, allowing us to exploit the full potential of zero-stretch Carbon XPly or the Fusion Body Construction. This makes all SLS and D/LAB sails true game-changers.
