Overview
Engineered over nearly three decades of Maui development and Munich engineering, the Platinum Series SLS sets the benchmark for carbon boom performance. It’s lighter yet stiffer, rig-fast and ultra-ergonomic — built to cover more sails with fewer booms thanks to a 60 cm extension range on every size.
The secret lies in the Segmented Cross-Section Technology: a square, massively reinforced front section and an oval tail section for a quantum leap in stiffness, durability, and in-hand comfort. Add the iFRONT 2.0 (the lightest molded front-end), discipline-specific bend curves, and you get a boom that feels impossibly solid yet feather-light on the water.
