Duotone
About Duotone Foiling & Electric
Duotone Foiling & Electric represents the brand's commitment to the fastest-growing segment in water sports. As hydrofoiling has transformed kitesurfing, windsurfing, and wing foiling, Duotone has developed a comprehensive foil ecosystem — from carbon front wings and aluminium masts to dedicated foil boards and electric foil systems that let riders fly above the water without wind.
Duotone's foil development is led by their World Tour athletes, including pioneers who have pushed foil racing speeds beyond 30 knots. The result is a foil range that delivers genuine performance gains at every level — from first-time foilers to competitive racers.
The Duotone Foil Range
The Spirit Carve front wing series covers high-aspect racing through to surf-oriented low-aspect designs. The Glide foil mast comes in aluminium and carbon, in lengths from 60cm to 95cm. Fuselages, shims, and stabiliser wings allow precise tuning of foil behaviour. The Pace foil board lineup offers dedicated shapes for kite foiling, wing foiling, and windsurf foiling — each with optimised volume, rail shape, and foot strap positioning.
For electric foiling, Duotone offers complete eFoil packages that combine a motorised mast unit with a purpose-built board, allowing riders to foil on flat water without any wind at all.

Expert Advice
Start with a larger front wing (1500–2000cm²) and shorter mast (70cm) to build confidence. As skills develop, move to smaller wings for speed and longer masts for cleaner carving above chop.
Q: Are Duotone foil components interchangeable across disciplines?
A: Yes — the Duotone foil system uses a modular design. You can swap front wings and masts between kite, wing, and windsurf boards with the same mast box.
Q: What mast length for a beginner foiler?
A: 70cm gives you room to learn without excessive height. Move to 85cm+ once comfortable with flight control.
Q: Does Surf Store assemble foil packages?
A: Yes — we can build complete foil setups matched to your discipline, weight, and budget. Contact us for a quote.
