The kite is the engine of the whole system — choosing the right one for your skill level, body weight, and local conditions defines your entire kitesurfing experience.

Leading Edge Inflatable (LEI) kites are the standard across freeride, wave, and freestyle riding: they relaunch from the water, pack down small, and cover a broad wind range. Foil kites offer maximum efficiency and light wind performance but require more experience to manage on the water. Within LEI kites, delta-bow shapes dominate modern riding for their wide depower range and accessible handling.
