Building on the success of the well-proven HydroFoil Slalom 91, four new sizes – 78, 81, 85, and 88 – join the lineup, designed to handle higher winds and match smaller sail and foil sizes. These boards are compact, minimizing swing weight for top-end control, and feature sharp, defined rails for early take-off and maximum lift. The wide tails provide leverage over the foil, crucial for speed and control. The comfortable deck shape ensures a relaxed ride, allowing you to focus on accelerating.
Design Enhancements for Ultimate Speed
In 2022, the HydroFoil Slalom 91 had the lowest volume among 91cm wide performance foil designs. With the rapid evolution of performance foiling, the need for smaller boards became evident, especially in high winds. This led to the development of four new shapes, covering all racing conditions, from PWA Slalom to long-distance events like the DEFI. The 91 remains perfect for light winds, while the new sizes are fine-tuned for higher winds by shaper Werner Gnigler.
