About ION Water

ION Water is the water sports division of ION, a German outdoor brand founded in 1993. ION Water produces wetsuits, harnesses, impact vests, boots, gloves, hoods, rashguards, and accessories for kitesurfers, windsurfers, wing foilers, and SUP paddlers. The brand is particularly celebrated for its wetsuit technology — offering thermal lining systems, panelled back-zip and front-zip designs, and a size range that covers from children to XL adults.

ION's manufacturing is certified to OEKO-TEX® standards and the brand has committed to using Yulex® natural rubber in their premium wetsuit range, reducing CO₂ emissions versus conventional neoprene by up to 80%.

The ION Water Range

ION wetsuits span from the entry-level Base series to the premium Seek Amp — their thickest and most insulating suit for cold-water sessions. The Amaze series is designed for women riders with an anatomically adjusted cut, pre-bent knees, and a higher back panel for comfort on foil boards. ION harnesses include the waist and seat designs for kite and windsurf use, with the Riot Curv being the most popular model across disciplines.
