Parawings

Parawings — ram-air soft kites designed for hand-held use — have opened up entirely new disciplines on water, land, and snow without the complexity of a traditional kite bar system.

The parawing concept, popularised by North's Skyscape and similar designs, puts a simple inflatable or soft wing directly in your hands. On water you can combine a parawing with a foil or a surfboard for a strapless, handlebar-free downwind experience. On land and snow the same wing creates accessible entry-level kite experiences for riders who don't want to invest in a full bar and lines setup. Lightweight and packable, parawings travel easily.
