Men's Wetsuits — From Summer Shorties to Winter Full Suits
A good wetsuit is the single most important purchase for any water sports rider. Get it right and you ride longer, more comfortably, and with better performance. Get it wrong and you spend every session thinking about the cold instead of your technique. Our men's wetsuit range covers the full spectrum from 2mm summer vests to 6/5mm hooded winter suits.
We carry ION wetsuits as our primary brand — offering the best balance of thermal performance, flexibility, and durability in European water sports. ION's Element series delivers reliable warmth at a mid-range price, the Seek series adds premium features like chest-zip entry and smooth-skin panels, and the Seek Amp is the warmest suit available for extreme cold-water sessions.
Choosing Your Wetsuit Thickness
Match thickness to water temperature, not season or air temperature:
- 2mm: Water 22°C+ (Mediterranean summer, tropical)
- 3/2mm: Water 16–22°C (spring/autumn, mild coastal)
- 4/3mm: Water 12–16°C (northern Europe spring/autumn)
- 5/4mm: Water 8–12°C (winter in central Europe)
- 6/5mm with hood: Water below 8°C (winter in northern Europe)
Entry Style: Back-Zip vs Chest-Zip
Back-zip suits are easier to get on and off — ideal for beginners and casual riders. Chest-zip suits are warmer (no zip running down the spine where cold water enters) and fit more snugly — preferred by serious riders in cold water. Front-zip suits offer a middle ground.

FAQ
Q: How tight should a wetsuit be?
A: Snug everywhere with no air pockets — especially lower back and armpits. You should be able to breathe comfortably but feel light compression on your torso.
Q: How do I care for my wetsuit?
A: Rinse in fresh water after every use, dry inside-out in shade, store on a wide hanger or flat. Never expose to direct sun or heat.
Q: When should I replace my wetsuit?
A: When seams leak consistently, neoprene loses stretch, or the suit no longer keeps you warm for a full session — typically after 2–4 seasons with regular use.
